The Fence post adapter is used if, for example, an existing fence post is set in concrete but has been destroyed by corrosion. The old Fence post is sawn off just above the top edge of the foundation. The Fence post adapter is hammered halfway into the remaining piece and the new fence post is pushed over the protruding end and hammered into place using a rubber mallet. The conical type of the Fence post adapter ensures that the new post is held firmly in place.
