GAH Alberts becomes Alberts

Everything you need to know about our brand relaunch can be found here: Why are we changing our name? What does this mean for the usual processes and cooperation with us? - This much in advance: You will not miss anything that has been dear to you over the past 170 years. We will continue to support our customers in their projects as usual, because when it comes to matters of the heart, we ourselves make no compromises. It is our mission to make sure that your project is a good one, and we will continue to do so. With our brand, we are now only moving further towards the future and are pleased that you are accompanying us on this path.

Tradition meets future

We hold and hold and hold... since 1852, over five generations. We are proud and happy to celebrate our 170th anniversary this year. We've been around longer than the Eiffel Tower and we're older than the Statue of Liberty. We are made to last and we are moving with you into a new era: GAH Alberts becomes Alberts. Our company founder, Gustav Alberts (photo, ca. 1916), would certainly agree with this.

Why Alberts?

GAH stands for "Gustav Alberts Herscheid" - GAH Alberts, the name under which you have known us so far, is therefore actually a duplication. As a fifth-generation family business that operates far beyond the borders of Herscheid, we are now focusing exclusively on the family name "Alberts". We are thus sharpening our brand and reliably standing up for our promises with our name.

MADE TO LAST

Quality is our promise and we've been delivering on that promise since 1852. After all, it's our posts that hold up. It's our fences that hold up. It's our hardware that endures. It's our profiles that hold in shape. It's our hinges and connectors that hold together. And you can count on it - for 170 years. Take a look at our staff photo from 1913 - that's how long we've been doing it well, doing it right, and doing it together.

Alberts is made to last.

THAT'S NEW

Everywhere we rename our corporate brand GAH Alberts to Alberts, changes take place. It affects our entire corporate design and the content of our brand. This is especially visible in our corporate communications, which includes our email signatures, social media, signage on buildings, our presentations, and of course our website.

Your questions - our answers

Will the postal address change?

No, our postal address remains Blumenthal 2 in Herscheid.

Are your personal email addresses changing?

Yes, we are changing our personal GAH email addresses (name.nachname@gah.de) to Alberts addresses (name.nachname@alberts.de). Don't worry, if you use the GAH email addresses, they will continue to land in our inboxes. Therefore, please do not be surprised if you receive an email from an Alberts address in response.

How long will the old personal email addresses continue to work?

They will continue to work indefinitely and forward your mails to the new email addresses.

Is your website changing?

Yes, our website is no longer gah.de, but alberts.de. With a new logo, text and color changes, the presentation has changed a bit. When searching for gah.de you will be redirected to alberts.de from now on.

Are your social media channels changing?

Partially, all our social media will be renamed from GAH to Alberts. The existing channels will remain, but will appear in the new design. You will see the first changes here on YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram.

Will all your collateral and promotional material change?

Ultimately, yes. We are updating some materials immediately, but a large portion in the stationary area will still be in the old look. Gradually, these materials will also be changed and adapted to the new design.

Are there circumstances in which GAH-Alberts will continue to be used?

The GAH-Alberts name and logo will gradually be replaced by the new logo. However, in the stationary sector, it may take some time for the old logo to disappear from the scene.

If the company name changes Gust. Alberts GmbH & Co. KG?

No, the company name remains the same.

Will the corporate form change?

No, our company form remains unchanged. The same applies to our bank details, commercial register and tax identification number.
